Trilingual company site with SEO-safe migration from WordPress.
An HVAC specialist with multiple branches and a multilingual audience. We built a fast, trilingual website with location pages and migrated the old WordPress URLs via 301 redirects, without losing Google rankings.
Losing a slow WordPress site, without losing SEO.
Old WordPress URLs were indexed
Dozens of pages and /wp-content/ assets were in Google Search Console and couldn't turn into 404s.
Multilingual content was inconsistent
FR/EN versions were incomplete and used ?lang= query parameters instead of clean URLs.
Branch info was fragmented
Addresses, opening hours and specialities per branch were on separate pages without structure.
No structured data
There was no Schema.org or LocalBusiness markup, so Google knew too little about the business.
Fast trilingual site with SEO architecture from day 1.
We rebuilt the site with clean multilingual URLs, branches as a first-class entity, and 301 redirects in middleware. Schema.org JSON-LD ensures rich Google results.
Trilingual routing
Clean URLs per language (NL default, /fr/..., /en/...) with automatic fallback and language switching without losing context.
301-redirect engine
Server-side middleware with exact-match mapping and patterns for /wp-content/ and old ?lang=-URLs.
Branches as an entity
Dedicated branch overview and detail pages per location, editable without code.
Schema.org JSON-LD
LocalBusiness markup with address, phone number and opening hours in both the root and on the homepage.
Specialities per service
Separate pages for air conditioning installation, repair and design, each written around the search terms in that language.
llm.txt + sitemap
Structured llm.txt and sitemap so that both classic search engines and AI engines refer correctly.
Live in 3 phases.
Audit & redirect mapping
Export from Google Search Console analysed. For each old URL, determined: redirect target or safe fallback.
Build & i18n
Site rebuilt in TanStack Start with multilingual routing, branch module and Schema.org. Content translated in parallel.
Cutover & monitoring
Server-side middleware with 301s deployed. Search Console and logs monitored to rule out 404s and redirect loops.
Measurable impact, from day 1.
404s on previously indexed URLs
Fully translated in clean URL structure
Time-to-content vs. old WordPress site
LocalBusiness JSON-LD live per branch
